Award Winning Alpaca Scarf from Sonja Blom - Cornerstone Alpaca Stud!

​Sonja Blom has won first prize with her nuno hand felted scarf in the Creative Alpaca Competition 2020, hosted by the Alpaca Association New Zealand - Northern Region!

The alpaca duvet is a luxurious prize and will come in handy this winter season.

Nuno felting is a wet felting technique where fibres or wool attach to silk through a slow  process of rubbing the fibres together using water and soap. This creates a "new fabric" by the fusing of fibres and silk together.
