Frequent Questions & Answers:
Q: Can the alpacas wear floral crown or hats?
A: Alpacas do not like things close to their ears and eyes, so we suggest using a floral wreath around their neck. A wreath of about 850mm circumference tied behind the alpaca's neck works well.
Q: Can we use any plants for the wreaths?
A: Some plants are poisonous to the alpacas. Please click on the link below for more information.
Q: What plants can we use?
A: Roses, willow, olive, poplar, oak, manuka, bamboo, rosemary. Other options are yarn pom-poms and fake flowers. For a full list please download the file below.

Q: Can we choose the colour of the alpacas?
A: We do have different colours, but not all of them are available all the time. It is up to the owners to decide which ones are ready to be used for the wedding. We will always try to be accommodating to your request.
Q: Can we have fluffy unshorn alpacas for our event?
A: Alpacas need to be shorn once a year before the summer for their well being to prevent heat stress. We will arrange later shearing for a few alpacas (if prebooked), but after end of January, all alpacas will be shorn. They will still look pretty, but won't have a long fleece.
Q: I only want the alpacas for one hour?
A: As the most time goes into preparing and grooming the alpacas, loading times, travelling, etc, there will be no discount for less than two hours.
Q: I only want one alpaca for the event?
A: Alpacas are herd animals and we never take one by itself. They stress easily and are always looking for a mate.
Q: How can we use the alpacas for our event?
A: Alpacas are very cute and very photogenic! Just having them around is already entertaining! Use them for your photoshoot for unique and interesting photos and your photographer will love it. Your guests will also love to meet these adorable animals full of attitude! A good time to have them at the wedding is after the ceremony or before the reception as this is a time where your guests can engage with them, touch them, take selfies and memorable experiences are created! We can also have a bit of alpaca nuggets on hand, but just a reminder that alpacas do spit...and especially over food :)
